The default maximum SAN storage for a Cloud IBR recovery account at PhoenixNAP is typically 25TB but some test and demo accounts may be limited to a lower number.
Follow these steps to increase your recovery storage at PhoenixNAP:
- Log in to the PhoenixNAP BMC portal with the email address you used to register for Cloud IBR.
- Choose Forgot Password if you’ve never logged in before. Use the primary email address you used to register for Cloud IBR.
- Click on your initials at the top right and click Request Quota Increase button from the drop down menu.
- To prevent Quota email warnings from PhoenixNAP, request to increase your quota to 2x more than you require.
- Once you receive confirmation from PhoenixNAP that your BMC storage quota was increased, increase the Storage number for the PhoenixNAP Cloud Provider(s) in the Cloud IBR portal, to half of what you requested from PhoenixNAP.
- If you require more than 25TB of storage, open a support ticket with Cloud IBR to have your Storage increased in the portal to half of what you increased your PhoenixNAP quota to.
